Reader-built field atlas

Care and City Atlas

Care is not proved by a flattering portrait. A useful record shows one consented action, the route or institution around it and the practical limit that affection alone cannot remove.

The evidence pair

Two photographs that can be compared

Frame 1

A consented action or object showing the practical work of care without exposing a vulnerable person

Frame 2

The route, room, counter, timetable or barrier that changes what the caregiver can do

What the note must add

Remove faces, addresses, medical details and identifying documents unless explicit publication consent exists. Describe the action and system; do not diagnose, idealize sacrifice or claim that one image reveals a relationship's private truth.

Submissions remain private until East Moment reviews the rights, specificity and usefulness of the record.

Editorial founding evidence

A visible baseline, with the gaps left open

These are East Moment editorial records built from authorized or rights-cleared imagery. They are not reader submissions and do not count toward the public record total.

A Tin Shui Wai route before the care action is visible

Partial public-space baseline

An open-license 2025 photograph shows buses, route signs, elevated walking connections and housing meeting at one real Tin Shui Wai stop.

Double-decker bus, footbridge, route signs and housing at a Tin Shui Wai stop
Visible: one public route linking transport, walking and housing. Missing: the care action and the person navigating it.

Still missing: The image records no consented care action, relationship, journey time, accessibility outcome or resident testimony. It is not a frame from The Way We Are and cannot represent the district's private life.

Approved reader records

The Atlas in public

The first consented care-and-city record is still waiting.

Approved records will join an ordinary act to the system around it. A portrait, inspirational caption or anonymous claim about a vulnerable person cannot complete the Atlas.
