Reader-built field atlas

Har Gow Lift Atlas

A beautiful basket proves very little. The lift shows whether a hot wrapper releases, bends and carries its filling without tearing.

What the note must add

Name the restaurant or table context, then describe release, support, flex and bite. A perfect result is useful; a failure is equally useful when the failure point is visible.

Submissions remain private until East Moment reviews the rights, specificity and usefulness of the record.

Editorial founding evidence

A visible baseline, with the gaps left open

These are East Moment editorial records built from authorized or rights-cleared imagery. They are not reader submissions and do not count toward the public record total.

A basket before the missing lift

Partial editorial baseline

An authorized still from an image-and-text note establishes a real har-gow basket and visible wrapper condition before anyone attempts the Atlas test.

Four translucent har gow in a bamboo steamer on a yum-cha table
Visible: basket, pleats, translucency and table context. Not visible: the lift outcome.

Still missing: No matched lift or failure frame exists. Release, flex, tenderness and the cause of any tear remain unproven.

The first lift is still waiting.

Approved reader records will appear here after editorial review. The Atlas begins with evidence, not a staged beauty shot.
