This is Guangzhou's most honest skyline. The towers are easy to recognize, but the dense low-rise city in front of them explains who keeps the metropolis running, where newcomers find a foothold and how different land systems collide. Calling this contrast 'old and new' is lazy. It is really about rent, work, migration, ownership and access compressed into one panorama. Guangzhou hides its sophistication inside use, not spectacle. Look at the middle distance, where the city negotiates with itself. Which part of this frame feels most like the real Guangzhou?
